Location. The modern Zecchini Hotel is located opposite Santa Lucia railway station in Venice, Italy. The hotel is 900 metres from the Rialto Bridge. St Mark's Square and the Palace of the Doges are within two kilometres.
Hotel Features. The Zecchini Hotel occupies a Venetian townhouse on a narrow sidestreet. Concierge staff can provide information on local attractions, restaurants and transportation. Complimentary newspapers are available in the lobby, as well as free Venice city maps and information about theatres and concerts. The concierge can also arrange free boat trips to the Murano Island glass factory. A complimentary buffet breakfast is served in the Zecchini Hotel's light filled breakfast room.

From Venice Marco Polo Airport (VCE):
Distance to Zecchini Hotel is 20 kilometres, approximately 30 minutes' drive.
Getting there. ATVO buses run every 30 minutes to Piazzale Roma in the city centre. The journey time is 20 minutes and single tickets cost 3 EUR. The ACTV number 5 bus also goes to Piazzale Roma. The number 15 bus runs between the airport and Venice Mestre train station. At Pizzale Roma, water buses (vaporetto) are available. A free bus service links the airport terminal to the airport jetty; from here, regular Alilaguna boats leave for the city. Single tickets cost 10 EUR. Private water taxis are available, but are typically very expensive. Prices are all subject to change.
Getting around. The centrally located Zecchini Hotel is 900 metres from the Rialto Bridge. Venice is best explored on foot or by public water buses (vaporetto). Three day passes for the public water bus cost 25 EUR and offer unlimited travel. Water taxis and gondolas are also available. Gondola ferries (traghetti) cross the Grand Canal and the fare is 50 cents. Drivers can leave their cars at Piazzale Roma or Tronchetto.
