A city centre hotel set in a medieval convent around an original cloistered courtyard, the Hotel Santa Croce in Fossabanda is one kilometre from the Leaning Tower and the Piazza dei Miracoli. The 67 air conditioned guestrooms are simply decorated and furnished in a modern style, with terracotta tiled flooring. All guestrooms include desks, direct dial telephones, satellite television with pay movies, wireless Internet, and bathrooms with hair dryers.
Guests can enjoy a peaceful moment in the original cloistered courtyard, or relax on the hotel's sunny patio. A buffet breakfast is served in the quaint breakfast room, and other original common spaces of the convent have been converted into conference and meeting rooms that can be utilised by business travellers. The concierge desk and multilingual staff on the 24 hour front desk can offer tourist information, with many of Pisa's top attractions close at hand. Very close to the hotel guests will find the green space of Viale delle Piagge 100 metres away, and the shops of the Corso Italia 500 metres away. The Piazza dei Miracoli and Leaning Tower are one kilometre from the hotel. Pisa Galileo Galilei Airport is five kilometres from the hotel, with an approximate driving time of 15 minutes.

Pisa Airport has its own train station with direct trains to Pisa Central Station, a short walk from the hotel. The CPT number 3 bus also connects the airport with Pisa city centre. A taxi from the airport to the hotel will cost approximately 12 EUR. A collective taxi service leaves the airport every ten minutes and runs to the Central Station and Leaning Tower, costing 2.50 EUR per person.
Driving directions: From the airport, follow signs for the centre then signs for the Congress Palace. Cross the bridge Ponte della Vittoria, turn left at the first traffic lights then take the first right. Head straight on, and the hotel is on the right.
The hotel's own airport transfer service can be booked in advance of arrival and costs 15 EUR per person.
